3d Wisconsin Battery - Lieutenant Courtland Livingston.

At 2 o'clock a.m. of September 20th this Brigade was brought from the ground of its engagement at Viniard's and joined its Division in bivouac on the slope west of this position. At 9 o'clock it was sent forward with Wood's Division and formed on the right of Brannan's Division near Poe's, from which point it was soon after dispatched to the left of Baird's line north of the Kelly field.

Marker is on Chickamauga-Vittatoe Road south of Dyer Road, on the left when traveling south. This tablet is located several feet off of the east side of the roadway in a grassy open area.
